You will receive your certificate of insurance immediately by email as soon as your online payment is confirmed. This means you can provide the required proof to your landlord or CROUS residence without delay. You can also download it anytime 24/7 directly from your online customer area.
Can I choose the effective date of my contract?
If I subscribe, how long am I insured for?
Your contract takes effect according to the chosen option ("Today" or "in 14 days"), it will automatically end on August 31st of the current school year. Our contract has no automatic renewal, meaning it does not renew automatically. You can renew your contract in a few minutes via your customer area from June 1st.

How do I file a claim, and will I get support in English?
- Direct Move (No overlapping dates): You do not need to purchase a new policy. Simply log in to your online customer area, click on “Other Actions”, and update your address. Your coverage will automatically transfer to your new home, and you can instantly download your updated certificate of insurance for your new landlord.
- Overlapping Leases (Keeping both apartments temporarily): Important: Once you update your address on your current policy, your previous apartment will no longer be covered in the event of a claim. If you are renting both places at the same time, you must purchase a new, separate contract for your new accommodation to ensure both are fully protected.
- 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: If you change your mind right after subscribing, you benefit from a legal 14-day withdrawal period. You can easily cancel your policy within this timeframe without any penalty.
- Automatic End of Contract: Your ADH insurance contract ends automatically on August 31st of the current academic year. There is no automatic renewal! You do not have to worry about complicated cancellation procedures or unexpected fees when you leave France or return to your home country.

What is Liability Insurance?
Liability insurance is the legal obligation to compensate for damages caused to others, whether material, bodily, or immaterial. If you are found responsible for unintentionally causing harm to another person, this coverage will cover the repair costs, in accordance with Article 1240 and Article 1241 of the Civil Code.
It protects you financially by covering compensation costs so that you don’t have to pay them yourself. For example, if you accidentally damage a video projector at school, your liability insurance will cover the repair costs.

If you have already taken out our home insurance (Comfort or Serenity plan), your insurance certificate serves as valid proof. It will include the mention:
"LIABILITY INSURANCE as occupant / Private life / COMPANY INTERNSHIP (no deductible)."
No additional certificate is required.
If you have taken out standalone liability insurance, the certificate you received by email at the time of subscription serves as proof.
